Our introductory training on functional safety in ISO 26262 equips participants with a foundational understanding of the standard's principles and requirements. Attendees will explore key concepts, including automotive safety integrity levels (ASIL), hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA), and safety goals. The session covers the entire safety lifecycle - development, production, operation, and decommissioning - as outlined in ISO 26262. Participants will also learn about safety mechanisms such as fault tolerance and diagnostic coverage, and the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in ensuring functional safety. By the end of the training, attendees will possess the essential knowledge to navigate the complexities of functional safety in automotive systems according to ISO 26262 standards.
